Think Leeds will regret not keeping him on, much like WBA did.

Laughing all the way to the bank. 500 grand for just over a month's work, even if you fail.

I'd love to be a relegation specialist manager. Win or lose, you win.

Leeds CEO Angus Kinnear said: "We thank Sam for being brave enough to step in and do all he could to save us."

Brave haha! A risk free half a mill for four games with a £2.5m bonus attached. Hardly going down the mines is it.

The Thai's business is duty free so COVID killed them with no travel.
Not sure how bad it was but heard the other day that they had borrowed against the future payments on all their player sales.
Their parachute payments will go to that debt and obviously as a relegated club they will be squeezed on what they get on the players like Maddison who have to go.
Have quite a few who will attract Premier league interest though Tielemans leaves for nothing.

I wonder what's happened to that Leicester City corner in Bangkok Airport? Perhaps it's moved to the floor below?

Jasnik yea I think Brendan Rodgers had been telling them.as much but I think the owners were having some financial problems and couldn't afford to strengthen. From.the snippets I've heard on 5 live.

Leicester practice of keep selling players and replacing them with not as good eventually caught up with them

Re: The Unsinkable Mr Allardyce
I was saying it's a cliche when some say promoted sides will come straight back down, as stats show they generally stay up, all 3 from last season stayed up.

Generally, at least one promoted team gets relegated. Season just gone, is only the 4th time, all 3 promoted teams have survived in the Premier league, the season after their promotion.

Re: The Unsinkable Mr Allardyce
Leeds group of players are dreadful. Nobody was keeping them up. Same for Southampton. Only team that will feel they had enough to stay up are Leicester. Losing Schmeichel cost them massively - remember earlier in the season, his replacement was awful.

Re: The Unsinkable Mr Allardyce
Just imagine if we had got shot of Moyes... and literally no one wanted the job until the end of the season... and we got Allardyce... and he kept us up on goal difference... so the board gave him a 5 year deal... just imagine that for a moment... yup....

*goes back to bed *

Re: The Unsinkable Mr Allardyce
IMO Bielsa was taking Leeds down, they were getting beaten easily almost every week at the end of his term, his time was up, BUT I think the Yank could have kept them up, the games he lost were only by the odd goal and he might have got them winning again, but who knows.

if you're going to waddle in somewhere and announce that you're as good as Guardiola & Klopp, then its 100% on you if your record reads:

A Couple of my favourite quotes from the crook from his time at Leeds:

“I'm 68 but there's nobody ahead of me in football terms. Not Pep (Guardiola), not (Jurgen) Klopp, not (Mikel) Arteta,”

"It's a pretty simple game, too many coaches try to over complicate it"

After Spurs game: "Our response to going 1 down was very good" (Spoiler alert: they let in another 3)

Re: The Unsinkable Mr Allardyce
So both Leeds and Leicester would have got 36 points or more if they’d kept Bielsa and Rodgers?
Total bollocks.

Re: The Unsinkable Mr Allardyce
Can’t really blame Allardyce, none were his players and he had 4 games.
Always on a hiding to nothing.
